A homotopy aspect of representation theory
نویسنده
چکیده
We bring a linkage from representation theory of Lie groups to homotpy theory for maps between flag manifolds. As applications we derive from representation theory abundant families of distinguishable homotopy classes of maps between flag manifolds. 2000 Mathematical Subject Classification: 57R22 (22E46).

Spatial Representation and Production and Reproduction of the Mental Image: Lefebvre’s Trialectic Approach
Lefebvre's theory of space production has been very much considered. In particular, it is important to integrate it systematically into the categories of city and space as a comprehensive and comprehensible social theory. Lefebvre's theory of space production has been remarkable in recent years and has responded well to the many questions posed in the early 1970s. Lefebvre in his trialectic in ...
متن کاملHomotopy approximation of modules
Deleanu, Frei, and Hilton have developed the notion of generalized Adams completion in a categorical context. In this paper, we have obtained the Postnikov-like approximation of a module, with the help of a suitable set of morphisms.
متن کاملDERIVED REPRESENTATION THEORY AND STABLE HOMOTOPY CATEGORIFICATION OF slk
We set up foundations of representation theory over S, the stable sphere, which is the “initial ring” of stable homotopy theory. In particular, we treat S-Lie algebras and their representations, characters, gln(S)-Verma modules and their duals, HarishChandra pairs and Zuckermann functors. As an application, we construct a Khovanov slk-stable homotopy type with a large prime hypothesis, which is...
متن کاملREPRESENTATION THEORY IN HOMOTOPY AND THE EHP SEQUENCES FOR (p− 1)-CELL COMPLEXES
For spaces localized at 2, the classical EHP fibrations [1, 13] ΩS S ΩS ΩS play a crucial role for the computations of the homotopy groups of the spheres [16, 25]. The EHP-fibrations for (p− 1)-cell complexes for p > 2 are given in this article. These fibrations can be regarded as the odd prime analogue of the classical EHP-fibrations by considering the spheres as 1-cell complexes for p = 2. So...
متن کاملCharacter factors through homotopy
We bring a linkage from representation theory of Lie groups to homotpy theory for maps between flag manifolds. As applications we derive from representation theory abundant families of homotopy classes of maps between flag manifolds whose induced cohomology homomorphisms can be read from the characters of the representations. 2000 Mathematical Subject Classification: 14F35 (22E46, 57R22).
